SEAI Grants & Home Energy Upgrades

Upgrade your home with the help of SEAI grants and make it warmer, more energy efficient, and more comfortable all year round.

At MJS Eco, we specialise in energy upgrades including external insulation, windows & doors, attic insulation, dry lining, and cavity wall insulation — all supported by available SEAI grants.

What Grants Are Available?

We carry out works that qualify for the following SEAI grants:

External Wall Insulation (EWI)

Up to €8,000 available
Ideal for improving heat retention and overall finish of your home

Windows & Doors

Windows: Up to €4,000
Doors: €800 per door (max 2 doors)
Upgrade to modern, energy-efficient glazing

Attic Insulation

Up to €2,000
Up to €2,500 for eligible homeowners
One of the most cost-effective upgrades

Dry Lining (Internal Insulation)

Up to €4,500
Improves insulation internally without altering exterior

Cavity Wall Insulation

Up to €1,800
Up to €2,300 for qualifying applicants
Quick and effective upgrade for suitable homes

Am I Eligible?

In general, you may qualify if:

Your home was built before 2011
You are the homeowner or landlord
The property has a valid MPRN number
Works are completed by an SEAI-registered contractor

For windows and doors, your home must also have adequate wall and attic insulation already in place.

How the Grant Process Works

We advise on the best works and grants available to you

3. Apply for the Grant

You apply through SEAI (we can guide you through this) Important: approval must be received before work begins

4. Complete the Works

Our team carries out the upgrades to a high standard

5. Post Works BER Assessment

A registered BER assessor carries out a post-works BER to confirm the energy improvements to your home

6. Submit Paperwork

Final documents, including BER details, are submitted to SEAI

7. Receive Your Grant

SEAI processes your payment once everything is approved
